Many years ago I spent a lot of time in Singapore through work, and filled my weekends with sketches of our surrounding area in the city.

Most of these were done in watercolour pencils with pen and ink outlines.

Mama Lucia’s was a small bar and Italian restaurant on Robertson Quay, and we spent most evenings chatting to ex-pats who gathered there after an evening’s work on the stock exchange.
