Back on the Oceana for a Canaries Island cruise, I once again spent my sea days with my watercolours by the side of the pool. As normal I attract a little bit of attention from passers by, but no more so than one of the pool bar staff who would spend many a spare minute checking on my “masterpiece”.

So it only seemed reasonable to give it to her at the end of the trip, which she seemed over the moon with. In return one of the waiters did me a little seascape on a napkin – cute.
